We The People

Directed by Virginia Nimarkoh and Fan Sissoko in association with Tommy Ross-Williams, We The People won the LWFF Film Futures Award and was a semi-finalist at Margate Film Festival.

Commissioned by the Museum of London as part of Curating London, ‘We The People’ is a documentary exploring the present, past and future of activism in Brixton, a neighbourhood where local struggles resonate loudly with international Black, Latinx, queer and working-class liberation movements. The film features alumni of The Advocacy Academy, the UK’s first campus for young activists, based in Brixton, where Tommy was Creative Director.
